MANIFESTO
these days that herald a new era in the life of the mother earth and our peoples and the birth of the new moon, our mother earth is ready to receive the seeds begin a new cycle marked by the planting of corn and the seed of our struggle to continue giving support to our existence as peoples, men and women of corn.
Ten years of the third National Indigenous Congress Nurío, the seed of dignity and resistance in the progress of the color of the earth who led the EZLN and tribal peoples and nations of Mexico, remains in force today as more than five hundred years.
At 15 years after the signing of the Agreements of San Andrés, we affirm its recognition as the supreme law of our Indian peoples, above the national and state laws. Autonomy continue to build our peoples, nations, tribes, communities and neighborhoods. The ancient right to defend the territory on every beach, every lake, every river, every forest, every desert and every forest, because Mother Earth is not a commodity, we and every being that we live part of it: the sacred does not sold.
As is well established in the San Andrés Accords and affirm that we claim as our Constitution: freedom is the concrete expression of the right to self-determination and where indigenous peoples if we are recognized as subjects of law. Besides San Andrés Accords are the door that gives us the opportunity to do something for ourselves that the government has denied, reconstitute as a people, generate our forms of self-defense, organizing our good government, to defend our lands, territories and natural resources.
San Andrés Accords we have discussed in this session are the result of a true exercise of national dialogue and consultation with indigenous peoples in Mexico, thanks to the initiative and call of the EZLN. After the betrayal legislative April 2001, the indigenous peoples who participated in the CNI have assumed, recognized and implemented the San Andrés Accords as our Great and Supreme Law. San Andrés Accords recognize and defend commonality to defend our territory against neoliberal and privatization laws.
San Andrés Accords have directed the defense and our walk in the fighting. The validity of the Agreements of San Andrés is expressed in the struggle of our people and is the way of autonomy. We are aware that in law it is not time to demand the government nothing because it did not comply with the Agreement signed at San Andres, it's time to bring the facts to exercise our right to autonomy and self determination.
Since the signing of the San Andrés Accords Sakamch'en of the Poor, this path of fifteen has advanced in the construction of self-determination of our people has been sown with the blood of many of our brothers and sisters. Have walked this path with us and given us light, stay with us even if you do not see them. Now they are our sacred ancestors who eventually meet again: the National Indigenous Congress does not forget its dead, they are our strength to withstand the onslaught of bad government and threats of big business. They are fire of life are maize seed: an example for our children and our youth.
National Indigenous Congress, the House of all independent and autonomous area of \u200b\u200bsolidarity, meet and discuss where it goes and comes our word, the word that is history, the word is work, the word that is dancing, the word is music, the word is a school, the word is mother earth and that is, the word is dignity, the word is form, and independent living.
The Indian National Congress is the house where we shared experiences, sadness and joy. They have built brotherhood and rebellion. In him we have sown well despite the difficulties which we faced. Our journey continues, the groove is still carving out among all people, the way is through reflection and autonomy is our harvest in fact.
People and organizations that have accompanied the path of the Indian National Congress, not only have been doing in the defense of our rights, but through artistic expressions such as mural painting, dance, theater and music, leaving footprint in the various communities where meetings, workshops and conferences have been made. We recognize the importance of the relationship of these artists and invite the community to continue giving life through the arts to our meetings. This XXIX
CNI meeting addressed a significant participation of women in the liberation of peoples. In the struggle for liberation not only the men, women or young people but we are all together.
The memory of our colleague the Comandante Ramona guides us in this meeting. Instituted spaces we have excluded, we have removed the word for it in the CNI, the House of All and all, we had a place where flowers always our participation, and women in the villages and the CNI. They reflected on how involved and engaged women in the liberation struggle.
The participation of women, their experience of life, struggle, his web of words must walk with the companions of CNI. Building a better life, organization and scope of regional fruit is unworkable without the participation of women. The CNI is the walk together in support of words, work, determination and knowledge of women.
The difficulty and defeat every movement has its roots in the exclusion of women. Our law, the San Andrés Agreement, are only achievable with the participation of women.
