The State Committee for Freedom of the Five of Spain has launched an initiative to Europe. The proposal is to get a million signatures in Europe. The campaign will run for 6 months, from March 12 to September 12 e.

On September 12, 1998 were arrested and imprisoned in the U.S., five citizens Cuban-René, Gerardo, Fernando, Ramon and Antonio-residents at that time in that country.
A judicial process, without due process and lack of evidence, were sentenced to unjust punishments, ranging from 15 years to two life sentences. This lack of evidence has been recognized by the U.S. Attorney's own (2001). FIVE still continue to meet its heavy prison sentences in various American prisons.
is a widely shared view that the five were victims of a political trial, and that American justice has shown that in this country, being a Cuban revolutionary is sufficient grounds for imprisonment.
