Sahara Solidarity Bikes for
If you have not used a bike, give supportive use
What is Bicycle Solidarity Campaign?
The
the Saharawi refugee camps were located in the most inhospitable desert on the Algerian border, have poor infrastructure and interim population live in harsh conditions, so the bike becomes a necessary good for mobility.
The complaint and solidarity
The international community is committing a flagrant injustice to the Saharawi people. After the illegal occupation of Western Sahara by the Moroccan invaders, part of its population over 35 years has been driven from their territory are living in camps in the Algerian desert. Next in occupied Western Sahara are subject to a regime of terror, deprived of the most basic human rights and are murdered, arrested and tortured to apply pending their legitimate right to self determination.
Against this injustice, Recicleta, City of Bicycles Draiga Um, and several neighborhood associations in Zaragoza we support you making this campaign in solidarity with the Saharawi people and to help improve their living conditions.
